Can doors be shortened?
Selected door collections from our catalog can be shortened depending on the design. Please ask your dealer for details. Shortening technical doors or doors that interfere with the glass is not allowed.
What should be the clearance between the door and the floor?
The clearance should be approximately 9mm. The tolerance is +/-3mm.
Is the dealer obliged to adjust the door during the guarantee period?
Correct installation ensures the correct functioning of the door for a long time. In the course of use, it is sometimes necessary to adjust the leaf, which is not covered by the guarantee. Hence the Guarantor, the dealer, or the fitter is not obliged to carry out a free-of-charge adjustment.
Can I adjust the doors myself?
The installation and adjustment of doors should only be commissioned to qualified groups/persons with experience in the installation of joinery.
What is a savings lock?
This is the colloquial term for a lock without a keyhole. Only the keyhole for the handle is made at the factory. The absence of a keyhole excludes the installation of a key/insert escutcheon.
What dimension should the door opening be?
The opening in the wall depends on the type of door, e.g. rebated, non-rebated, reversible and others. The choice of the type of door is best made at the construction stage. The colour and model of the door can be chosen later, i.e. before placing the order.
