“P” technology is a modern method of door production, which is based on the use of a homogeneous monolith of wood. Unlike traditional panel doors, ERKADO leaves do not consist of many fragments joined together – they are a coherent, stable whole. The interior of the door is a wooden truss that has been filled with polyurethane foam. This lightweight but effective material provides excellent thermal and acoustic insulation, so the door effectively protects the interior of the house from cold, heat and noise. The door frame is reinforced by a steel plate and a “C” profile, which significantly increases the resistance of the structure to mechanical damage. The outer layer is waterproof plywood – resistant to changing weather conditions and moisture.
