Instead of traditional panel technology, in which the leaf consists of many elements, ERKADO uses a structure based on a wooden monolith. This eliminates the problems known from classic doors – no splintering coffers, wavy veneer, cracking joints or discoloration. The interior of the door hides a truss of wood filled with polyurethane foam – thanks to this the leaf perfectly insulates against cold, noise and moisture. The solidity of the entire structure is ensured by a wood frame, reinforced with steel sheet and “C” profile. From the outside, the whole has been protected with waterproof plywood – an element that makes the door perform well in all weather conditions, regardless of the season.
